The brief was to create a relaxed sanctuary in a busy family home - a grown-up space to relax, unwind and rest. I used soft, calming neutrals throughout the bedroom. The addition of panelling and luxurious interlined full-length curtains brings texture and a sense of calm to the space. The existing Ercol furniture was too orange for the scheme, so we toned down the colourway to be in keeping with the room. An upcycled dressing table completes the space.
